On June 23, 2021, longtime WilmerHale client The Tecan Group (SIX Swiss Exchange: TECN), a leader in developing and manufacturing OEM instruments, announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire US-based Paramit Corporation and its affiliates for a total purchase consideration of $1 billion (CHF 920 million).
