R. Over the course of his career, he became a valued resource for companies navigating complex compensation structures and regulatory requirements, and he participated actively in professional circles focused on emerging developments in compensation and benefits. His career at WilmerHale concluded with his retirement in 2025.

Mr. Kilgore’s involvement in the legal community included membership in the business, tax (executive compensation), and labor sections of the American Bar Association, as well as the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals. Earlier in his career, he served as Moderator of the Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Forum on Counsel Connect, an online forum for lawyers, from 1994 to 1998. His long-standing engagement with compensation‑related professional groups reflects his commitment to staying at the forefront of developments in this highly specialized area of practice.
