On July 12, 2021, Spectris plc, the expert in providing insight through precision measurement, announced that it has acquired Concurrent Real-Time, a global provider of high-performance, real-time computational hardware and software solutions, from Battery Ventures, a Boston-based PE firm, for $166.7 million (£121.2 million) in cash. The transaction supports Spectris’ strategy to make synergistic acquisitions to enhance and grow its platform and potential platform businesses.

The WilmerHale team advising Spectris was led by Stephanie Evans, and included Tal Hacohen, Douglas Edwards, Erin Bruynell and Frank Wang.
