WilmerHale is a platinum sponsor of the annual ChIPs Global Summit. Now in its eighth year, the Global Summit will bring together more than 750 women from the United States and abroad. The accomplished women who attend the ChIPs Summit are leaders, innovators and change makers who work at the intersection of technology, law and policy.

Programming includes cutting-edge topics at the intersection of technology, law and policy, as well as insightful discussions about diversity & inclusion, career development and leadership skills. Past panel topics have included artificial intelligence, technology and politics, fintech, cybersecurity and using technology for social change. At the 2019 summit, Partner Monica Grewal will lead the panel "A Conversation With the Women Building Biotech's Future." You’ll hear from Dr. Vivian Lee, the president of health platforms at Google Alphabet company Verily Life Sciences, and Editas Medicine Vice President and Head of Legal Dr. Charlene Stern.

This year, the ChIPs Hall of Fame honoree is WilmerHale Partner Jamie Gorelick, one of Washington's best-known lawyers, whose career has spanned the legal, government and corporate landscape and who is expert at solving difficult issues at the intersection of law and policy. ChIPs created the Hall of Fame program in 2013 to recognize exceptional individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to the ChIPs mission of advancing women in technology, law and government. Gorelick is the ninth Hall of Fame award recipient and will be honored at an induction ceremony at the Global Summit.
