Financial Times Recognizes WilmerHale for “Standout” New Business & Service Delivery

Recognition

The Financial Times has ranked WilmerHale among the top law firms in North America for new business and service delivery models in its “2018 Innovative Lawyers” list. The annual list assesses law firms and lawyers in North America, Europe and Asia on their innovation for clients as well as in their own businesses. The Financial Times highlighted the firm’s integration of Matter Management and the facilitation of project management assistance by cross-functional administrative teams, as well as the successes around the efficiency and consistency of WilmerHale lawyers’ legal work.

WilmerHale was named among the four “Standout” law firms to lead the list of 10 total honorees in the 2018 list. “The firm launched an internal matter management group, consisting of 30 legal project managers pulled from a pool of staff attorneys, discovery attorneys and paralegals to provide project management and business intelligence to the firm's lawyers,” the Financial Times said. It also highlighted WilmerHale’s automated matter reporting platform, which has helped to improve the management of cases.
