Virtual
Webinar CLE

Join us for the second session in our webinar series addressing the focus of various government agencies on cryptocurrency.

During this program, WilmerHale attorneys Matthew B. Kulkin, Paul M. Architzel and Matthew Beville, with Tiffany J. Smith as moderator, will discuss the heightened focus on crypto by the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and how this heightened focus could impact crypto market participants.

The panelists will discuss the following:

  • the CFTC’s jurisdiction over cryptocurrencies;
  • recent CFTC actions, including enforcement cases, related to cryptocurrencies;
  • how the CFTC (and the National Futures Association) monitor cryptocurrency markets; and
  • recent legislative proposals to expand the CFTC’s role in regulating cryptocurrency markets.

During the webinar, participants will have the opportunity to contribute questions online. CLE credit will be provided.
