WilmerHale Again Named Among the World’s Leading International Arbitration Firms in GAR 30
- 4.11.2025
Global Arbitration Review again featured WilmerHale in the top 10 of its prestigious GAR 30 list, which includes the leading international arbitration firms in the world. The results were revealed at the GAR Awards dinner in Paris and are the culmination of a lengthy research process, conducted over several months. The firm's International Arbitration Practice has been included in these rankings every year since the list's inception 18 years ago.
The GAR 30 ranks firms primarily on the number of arbitral hearings conducted over a two-year period. Firms receive extra credit for higher-value disputes, and for activities that reflect a strong reputation (such as arbitrator appointments received by firm members) and for strong performance during research for GAR’s sister publication, Lexology Index: Arbitration – a guide to the leading practitioners in the field as selected by their peers. The number of hours billed to arbitration during the research period also informs the analysis.
WilmerHale offers one of the world's most active international arbitration practices, having been involved in more than 700 proceedings in recent years. The firm has successfully represented clients in a number of the largest institutional arbitrations and several of the most significant ad hoc arbitrations to arise in the past decade.
The WilmerHale International Arbitration practice features partners Gary Born, Charlie Caher, Steven Finizio, Rachael Kent, Marleen Krueger, Jonathan Lim, Danielle Morris, Franz Schwarz, and John Trenor; Senior Counsel, Dr. Sarah Ganz and Claudio Salas; and Counsel, Nadja Al Kanawati, Matteo Angelini, Olga Braeuer, Sonya Ebermann, Michael Greenop, Michael Howe, Shanelle Irani, Cem Kalelioglu, Zeslene Mao, Alex Young, and Alyson Zureick as well as over 50 associates qualified in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
