Capsule Captures $12M in Series A Funding

On April 16, 2025, Capsule.Video, an AI-powered video editing software that aims to improve the speed and efficiency of post-production edits, announced the closing of its $12 million round of Series A funding. The Series A round was led by Innovation Endeavors, with participation from HubSpot Ventures and several angel investors, such as Frame.io founder Emery Wells, former Twilio executive François Dufour, Ramp co-founder Karim Atiyeh and Instacart’s chief marketing officer Laura Jones. The funding will be used to upgrade its AI-powered video editing assistant for marketing, sales and media teams.

The WilmerHale team advising Capsule.Video was led by Adam Freiman and included Gabriella Stearns and Whitley Horning, with assistance from Ariel Soiffer and David Strong.
