On November 22, 2022, Ciena Corporation, a networking systems, services and software company, announced that it acquired long-standing client of the firm, Benu Networks, Inc. Headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts, Benu is a leading software and solutions provider focused on simplifying broadband access networks using a portfolio of field-proven, cloud-native software solutions. The acquisition will enable Ciena to reduce expenses and improve sustainability for its customers.
