Four WilmerHale partners in the Denver office have been recognized in Law Week Colorado’s “Barrister’s Best” awards. These awards highlight the “best of the best” as chosen by Denver’s legal community and the editors of Law Week Colorado.

  • Gina Rodriguez was named Best Overall Litigator. Law Week Colorado notes, “Gina Rodriguez, a 30-plus veteran of the courtroom, has represented companies in a broad array of industries. Her work has even included representing the Colorado Rockies.” The profile also highlights that Rodriguez previously served as an Assistant US Attorney.
  • Ken Salazar was named Best Renewable Energy Lawyer. The profile notes his past roles include state attorney general, US Senator and US Secretary of the Interior, noting that “Salazar’s practice at WilmerHale broadly extends to energy, environmental compliance and natural resource issues.”
  • Keith Trammell was one of only a few attorneys who were recognized in multiple categories, he was named Best Private Equity Lawyer and Best Securities Lawyer. Law Week Colorado notes that Trammell is well-known for his work with both public and private companies as well as private equity funds in M&A transactions, adding that “Trammell has also been busy this year partnering with other attorneys in ColoradoCovidRelief.org, an organization that offer legal help in business issues, bankruptcy and eviction through the pandemic.”
  • John Walsh was recognized as Best Commercial Litigator. The profile notes that Walsh is known for his previous service as the US Attorney for the District of Colorado, noting “since returning to the private sector he’s seen success representing companies in the aerospace, construction, defense, education industries among others.”
