OneSpan Inc. (NASDAQ: OSPN) announced that it has completed the acquisition of Build38, a Europe-based leader in next generation mobile application protection solutions. OneSpan is a leading cybersecurity company specializing in advanced authentication, fraud prevention, and mobile app protection solutions for financial institutions and enterprises. Following receipt of regulatory approvals across multiple jurisdictions, the transaction successfully closed February 27.
With the acquisition, OneSpan has added Build38’s mobile security technology, engineering expertise, and cloud driven threat intelligence platform to its expanding cybersecurity portfolio. The integration enhances OneSpan’s App Shielding capabilities by incorporating continuous in app protection, cloud powered threat intelligence, and adaptive, AI enabled defenses.
These expanded capabilities are expected to strengthen OneSpan’s ability to safeguard mobile channels for enterprises globally, offering deeper visibility into emerging risks and a more future ready security foundation.
