Crain’s New York Business has named Anjan Sahni, Partner-in-Charge of WilmerHale’s New York office, to its list of Notable Diverse Leaders in Law. The annual list recognizes 80 of the city’s top lawyers whose legal prowess, pro bono representation and community service distinguish them from their peers.

Sahni advises individuals and institutions on high-stakes government investigations and litigation across several agencies and subject areas. He has been lead counsel in a dozen federal criminal trials and served as a federal prosecutor for the Southern District of New York before joining WilmerHale. He also maintains an active pro bono practice on behalf of indigent criminal defendants and the Sikh Coalition, a national civil rights organization.

Outside of the courtroom, Sahni is a member of the firm’s Management, Diversity and Compensation Committees. As a leader in the New York office and the firm’s white-collar practice, Sahni has prioritized mentorship and actively works to foster an inclusive environment that benefits from WilmerHale’s diverse team of lawyers.
