WilmerHale Counsels Eaton Vance in $7B Deal With Morgan Stanley

Morgan Stanley and Eaton Vance Corp. announced today that the companies have entered into a definitive agreement under which Morgan Stanley will acquire Eaton Vance for an equity value of approximately $7 billion. The acquisition is expected to close in the second quarter of 2021, subject to customary closing conditions.
