The honor recognizes professionals who have made “significant marks on the practice, policy and technological advancement of their practice,” and those individuals who are at the forefront of innovation and are thought leaders in their industries. 

The Recorder’s profile on Mr. Selwyn highlights his work representing some of the world’s largest technology companies in the United States and globally in patent litigation involving wireless technologies. The profile discusses Mr. Selwyn’s expectation that the number of patent cases with an international dimension will continue to grow as technology advances. As a result, he says, “it will become increasingly critical to have that experience and savvy about how different jurisdictions handle these technology issues.”
