On April 4, 2019, WilmerHale was honored at the Managing IP Americas Awards as the winner of the 2019 United States Patent Contentious Firm of the Year Award. Along with this recognition, Bill Lee and Mindy Sooter were recognized as recipients of the Outstanding Litigator of the Year Award for Massachusetts and Colorado, respectively. Finally, the firm was presented with an Impact Case of the Year Award for its work for PNC Bank in Supreme Court case PNC Bank National Association v Secure Axcess, led by DC–based Greg Lantier.
