Speaking Engagement
With a new decade upon us, the patent landscape continues to evolve as the US Supreme Court addresses patentable subject matter in In re Bilski, and the new administration makes patent reform a key agenda item. This half-day program will feature a collection of leading experts from academia, industry and the judiciary, to offer insights into the recent developments and "hot topics" in IP law. Topics to be discussed include damages, reexaminations and inequitable conduct.

Mr. Lee will provide opening remarks, Mr. Heyison will speak on the topic of "Damages: Avoiding Exposure and Loss of Your Bottom Line," Mr. Stoner will speak on the topic of "Behind the Wheel of Patent Litigation: Steering Clear and Defending Against Allegations of Inequitable Conduct," and Mr. Cavanaugh will speak on the topic of "USPTO–Challenges and Opportunities: Reexaminations."
