The symposium will consist of a round table discussion with H.E Judge Abdulqawi Yusuf, Dr. Nabil Elaraby, Lisa J. Grosh, Dr. Mojtaba Kazazi, the moderator Professor Ove Bring and Professor Dr. Maxi Scherer. The discussion will center on successful peaceful dispute resolution in recent history and forces that drive this development. It will be a discussion where different perspectives and experiences meet in a constructive dialogue to share and learn from each other—and point the way for the future.

The symposium will coincide with the publishing of the book Arbitrating for Peace, a publication that intends to demonstrate how international arbitration has effectively been used to overcome cultural, economic and geopolitical differences.
