- Co-Chair, Sports and Gaming Practice
Michelle Diamond’s practice focuses on a range of matters at the intersection of law, business and government policy—including sensitive internal investigations, litigation, and strategic response and crisis management. She has extensive experience conducting workplace culture reviews; investigating allegations of sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation; litigating sensitive matters through evidentiary hearings and/or trial; and advising companies on how to create and implement effective compliance programs.
Ms. Diamond routinely advises leading technology, financial services, and nonprofit companies; as Co-Chair of WilmerHale’s Sports and Gaming Practice, she has represented companies involved in sports and gaming across a variety of sectors, including professional sports teams, alternative asset management firms, gaming companies, and consulting firms. Her substantive expertise includes artificial intelligence development and oversight, anti-discrimination laws, US money laundering laws, and the rapidly evolving legal and regulatory landscape of controlled substances (e.g., cannabis and psychedelics).
Ms. Diamond also dedicates significant time to her pro bono practice, which focuses on reproductive rights. She has litigated on behalf of Planned Parenthood and the American Civil Liberties Union in federal and state courts across the country, serving as lead counsel at trial and on appeal.

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Ms. Diamond served as a law clerk for the Honorable John M. Walker Jr. of the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the Honorable Thomas P. Griesa of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
