Thad Eagles has represented clients in complex civil litigation in state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels, with a particular focus on government-facing actions. He maintains an active pro bono practice, with a particular focus on election law and the constitutional rights of criminal defendants.

Mr. Eagles has previously clerked for the Honorable Justice Sonia Sotomayor of the United States Supreme Court, the Honorable Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the United States Supreme Court, the Honorable Chief Judge Robert A. Katzmann of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Honorable Judge Jed S. Rakoff of the Southern District of New York.

While attending law school, he served as an intern in the Voting Section of the Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice. He also worked as a clinic student at the Brennan Center for Justice and a legal intern at the American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Eagles worked for two years as paralegal in the Consumer and Housing Unit at Philadelphia Legal Assistance.
