Molly E. Nelson

Senior Associate

Molly Nelson is a corporate lawyer with experience representing public and private companies and private equity sponsors in a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers, stock and asset acquisitions, reorganizations, public securities offerings, divestitures and auction sales, PIPEs and carve-outs. She also advises clients on corporate governance and disclosure and other general corporate law matters. Ms. Nelson has experience across a wide range of industries, including energy and infrastructure, private equity, life sciences, real estate, technology and financial services.

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Ms. Nelson was an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York, where she focused on mergers and acquisitions. During law school, she served as an Executive Editor for The Tax Lawyer law journal and an honors legal intern for the US Securities and Exchange Commission, and held various leadership positions in the Student Bar Association and Women’s Legal Alliance.
