Javad Mostofizadeh provides comprehensive advice to venture capital, growth equity, and private equity funds on a wide range of investment management matters, from fund formation to ongoing operations and investor relations. Mr. Mostofizadeh has advised some of the largest and best-known investment fund clients across the US and internationally on critical business, legal, and strategic issues. His experience spans a range of investment areas and fund types, including venture capital (from seed to late stage), growth equity, private equity, opportunity funds, fund-of-funds, and special purpose vehicles (SPVs).

Mr. Mostofizadeh assists clients with preparing offering materials, negotiating with investors on fund formation issues,drafting partnership agreements, LLC operating agreements, and other governing documents as well as advising fund managers on operational and governance matters. He also has experience in income tax issues that affect investment funds and regularly counsels clients on strategic considerations throughout the fund lifecycle.

Additionally, Mr. Mostofizadeh is recognized as a leading voice on investment fund topics. He frequently speaks on industry panels, contributes articles, and provides thought leadership for leading publications. He contributed to the Thomson Reuters treatise The Acquisition and Sale of the Emerging Growth Company: The M&A Exit.
