H. Rachael Million-Perez

Counsel

H. Rachael Million-Perez is an intellectual property counsel who represents a variety of clients across various technical sectors, including pharmaceuticals (both small molecule and biologics), medical devices, network telecommunications, electronics, energy systems and fabrics. She has experience in litigation before federal district courts, post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and appeals before the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the Sixth Circuit and US Supreme Court.

Ms. Million-Perez recently rejoined the firm after a clerkship at the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit with the Honorable Jimmie V. Reyna. Before joining the firm in 2018, she also clerked for two judges in the US District Court for the Western District of Tennessee: The Honorable Jon P. McCalla (for whom she was the designated patent law clerk) and the Honorable Samuel H. Mays. 

Ms. Million-Perez received her JD from the George Washington University Law School, and her BA in Biochemistry from Colgate University. During law school, she served as an extern in the Office of General Counsel of the US International Trade Commission and was a student attorney in the Vaccine Injury Clinic of George Washington University Law School. She also interned with the Honorable Jimmie V. Reyna of the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Honorable Allison H. Eid of the Colorado Supreme Court. Ms. Million-Perez further served as the Student Editor-in-Chief of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Quarterly Journal and as a Writing Fellow at the George Washington University Law School. 

Before pursuing a legal career, Ms. Million-Perez conducted biochemistry research on the fertilization mechanism in mammals at Bar-Ilan University in Israel.

Ms. Million-Perez has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Intellectual Property Litigation, Selected Latino Lawyer to Keep on the Watch by Latino Leader Magazine and Up and Coming Lawyer by Law Week Colorado.
