WilmerHale Represents Alcatel-Lucent in $200M Asset Divestiture

On April 1, 2014, Alcatel-Lucent announced that it formally signed and closed a definitive agreement for the sale of its subsidiary LGS Innovations LLC to a US-based company owned by a Madison Dearborn Partners-led investor group that includes CoVant.

The consideration agreed to between Alcatel-Lucent and the Madison Dearborn/CoVant group will comprise a total amount of up to $200 million, a portion of which was paid at closing with a subsequent variable component to be determined based on the divested company's 2014 operating results.

Stephanie Evans, vice chair of WilmerHale's Corporate Group, represented Alcatel-Lucent in this transaction.
