WilmerHale has settled into its permanent office location in downtown Frankfurt. The Frankfurt office was established in December 2008 and complements the firm's long-established presence in Berlin. The opening of this second office in Germany signifies a serious commitment to clients in the Frankfurt area and to the German market.

The Frankfurt team currently consists of more than twenty-five attorneys with practices that focus in particular on Corporate/M&A, Antitrust and Public Law, Litigation and Intellectual Property. An additional important focus is on the Financial practice.

With the expansion to Frankfurt, WilmerHale has already succeeded in further building its position in Germany. WilmerHale Germany has been nominated for the prestigious JUVE Awards 2009 as "Law Firm of the Year," as well as in the areas of "M&A" and "Regulated Industries" by JUVE, Germany's eminent legal magazine.
