A WilmerHale team was recognized on May 1, 2026 as a "Litigators of the Week" runner‑up in Litigation Daily for securing a defense jury verdict on behalf of Cisco Systems Inc. in the first trial in a wave of patent cases brought by EireOg related to the process for managing computer chip components. 

After just over an hour of deliberations, a federal jury in Marshall, Texas found in Cisco’s favor both on infringement and on the nature of the relationship between the patentholder and Atlantic IP Services, an issue central to Cisco’s license defense.
