Brittany Amadi Recognized by Diversity Journal as a “Woman Worth Watching in STEM”

Recognition

Brittany Amadi has been recognized by Profiles in Diversity Journal as a “Woman Worth Watching in STEM.” These awards recognize women who demonstrate leadership and professional achievements in the areas of science, technology, engineering or mathematics.

A partner in WilmerHale’s Washington DC office, Ms. Amadi focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation and handles matters across a range of industries and stages of litigation. In her profile, published in Profiles in Diversity Journal’s Second Quarter 2021 issue, Ms. Amadi discusses her STEM experience in working with clients to navigate a variety of intellectual property challenges. She notes that each case presents an opportunity to learn about different areas of technology and innovation, from how cell phones communicate with cell towers to how the postal service uses technology to sort millions of pieces of mail every day.

Ms. Amadi shares that while progress has been made for women in STEM, there is still a long way to go. She hopes to see more women in positions of leadership at science and technology companies, and also notes that increasing diversity in STEM is important and will bring benefits for society at large.
