On July 30, 2020, Endurance International Group Holdings, a leading provider of cloud-based platform solutions designed to help small and medium-sized businesses succeed online, announced that the company had signed an agreement to acquire Retention Science, an AI-driven provider of e-commerce email marketing services. The acquisition of Retention Science will enhance Endurance’s e-commerce capabilities. 

The transaction closed on August 7, 2020.  Pursuant to the terms of the definitive merger agreement, Endurance paid approximately $17.5 million at closing, with up to an additional $17.5 million to be paid in a combination of deferred consideration and earnouts over the next three years.
