The National Law Journal (NLJ) has named Heather Nyong’o, a Palo Alto–based partner at WilmerHale, as a 2018 Mergers & Acquisitions and Antitrust Trailblazer. Ms. Nyong'o leads the firm’s California Cartel Enforcement Practice—part of the firm’s internationally-recognized Antitrust and Competition Group

The NLJ profile highlights Ms. Nyong’o’s wins and achievements at the Department of Justice, where she served as a trial attorney in San Francisco before joining WilmerHale in 2014. The profile also highlights her recent role as first chair in representation of former Citigroup foreign exchange trader Rohan Ramchandani. Following deliberations, the jury acquitted Mr. Ramchandani of all allegations against him.
