In the Program on Information Justice and Intellectual Property's (PIJIP) ongoing Supreme Court Series at American University Washington School of Law, a panel of counsel for amici and parties will discuss the case on the afternoon following oral argument before the Court.

Issue: Whether the Federal Circuit erred in holding that a defendant may be held liable for inducing patent infringement under 35 U.S.C. § 271(b) even though no one has committed direct infringement under Section 271(a).
