Microsoft and the Howard University School of Law (HUSL) believe that it is absolutely critical that diversity play a key role in the development and legislation of new technology. To this end, Microsoft’s Corporate and External Legal Affairs group, in partnership with others, are proud to sponsor the 2020 2nd Annual Tech Law Summit. One of the goals of this conference is to educate minority legal professionals on the issues and opportunities in the tech industry in an effort to help infuse the legal workforce with a diverse pipeline to ensure fair, transparent and accountable development of AI as a service and other new technologies that empower everyone. This summit will feature leading technology lawyers discussing cutting edge issues and having lively debates. Attendees will gain practical insight into the latest developments in technology and technology policy as well as how to use key technology to enhance their productivity in the practice of law.
