GCR Live Cartels Conference

GCR Live Cartels Conference

Speaking Engagement

This inaugural event will bring together leading private practitioners, corporate counsel and governmental representatives to discuss a variety of topics at the forefront of antitrust law.

Topics will include:

  • Punishing global cartels - are there any limits?
  • Et tu?: Where are private cartel actions in Europe headed?
  • Cartel enforcement challenges in newer enforcement regimes
  • The US antitrust sentencing guidelines: Too harsh, too lenient, or just about right?

WilmerHale Partner Heather Tewksbury will be a moderator on the panel, “Did the enforcers go bananas in Dole v. Commission? What are the boundaries of cartel conduct and why does it matter?” The panel will explore the boundaries between hard-core cartel conduct and other competition law offenses in the EU and elsewhere and why that matters.
