Dowd, Flanagan and Selwyn Named Among the “Top 75 IP Litigators in California”

Attorney News
WilmerHale partners Jim Dowd, Mark Flanagan and Mark Selwyn were each named to the Los Angeles Daily Journal’s feature of the 75 leading IP litigators in California.

This is the second year that Palo Alto-based partners Flanagan and Selwyn appeared in the Daily Journal’s exclusive list. Flanagan, who joined the firm in 2006, was noted in the article for his representation of InterDigital Inc. in a $400 million settlement with Samsung. Selwyn, who moved to California four years ago as one of the founding partners for the firm’s Palo Alto office and is now the partner-in-charge of the office, was recognized in the feature for his work on behalf of RSA Security Inc. in a non-infringement judgment upheld by the Federal Circuit last year.

Making his debut on the list is Dowd, a partner in WilmerHale’s Los Angles office. Dowd, who moved to California just last year, was noted for winning a series of victories in the International Trade Commission and Northern District of California for STMicroelectronics Inc.

The Daily Journal’s search for leading IP litigators in California was held to identify those who have had an exceptional impact on the larger world of intellectual property and the development of law in this practice.
