The annual awards, which are regarded among the most respected in the legal industry, are given in recognition of an individual’s or firm’s significant achievements and developments over the last year.

After conducting extensive peer and client research, Managing IP has shortlisted WilmerHale in the following categories:

  • Appellate Firm of the Year (National)
  • Patent Disputes Firm of the Year (National)
  • Impact Case of the Year: Centripetal Networks v Cisco Systems 
  • Impact Case of the Year: Open Sky Industries v VLSI Technology
  • Firm of the Year: Life Sciences IP Litigation (National)
  • Firm of the Year - Patent Disputes (Northeast)

In addition, four attorneys have been shortlisted for individual awards:

  • Litigator of the Year (Massachusetts)  Bill Lee 
  • Practitioner of the Year – Appellate – Mark Fleming (National)
  • Litigator of the Year – Mindy Sooter (Colorado)
  • Litigator of the Year – Amy Wigmore (DC Metro)

WilmerHale and the other nominees will be honored during the 18th annual Managing IP Awards on at the JW Marriott Essex House in New York City on April 27.
