Rebecca Scaife provides strategic counsel to clients responding to high-profile corporate crises and advises on government investigations and congressional oversight. She began her career at WilmerHale as a summer associate in 2019. 

While in law school, Ms. Scaife was a research assistant for New York University School of Law Clinical Law Professor Deborah Archer. She interned for the Honorable George B. Daniels of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. Ms. Scaife was also a legal research and policy extern for the Urban Institute in Washington DC, where she prepared senior leaders for hearings before congressional subcommittees, analyzed the Higher Education Act, and provided policy recommendations to reform student loan programs. Ms. Scaife previously worked as a summer associate for a business and litigation law firm in Washington DC. 

Prior to law school, Ms. Scaife worked as the manager of inclusive programming and policy for the District of Columbia Public Schools. She also taught second grade in DC. 

Ms. Scaife maintains an active pro bono practice.
