
Michael E. Kaplan
Counsel
Michael Kaplan is a real estate lawyer with more than 10 years of experience counseling clients on a wide range of complex real estate projects and transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures and leasing matters. His clients include domestic and international real estate investment trusts (REITs), private investors and developers.
Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Kaplan was a senior associate at another large law firm in Denver, CO and Washington DC. While there, he managed real estate clients and matters, negotiated and drafted definitive documents and supervised deal teams. He also led real estate aspects of corporate transactions, including public and private acquisitions, dispositions and spin-offs.
Mr. Kaplan serves on the board of the Anti-Defamation League, Mountain States Region and was previously a member of the Downtown Denver Partnership Leadership Program.
