Melissa Morel focuses her practice on complex litigation, investigations and criminal litigation matters. Her work has included representing public companies and financial institutions in antitrust class actions, federal securities class actions and matters involving regulatory compliance, including Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) investigations. She has worked on corporate internal investigations and matters involving responses to government inquiries and subpoenas.

Ms. Morel has also handled matters arising from investigations, including work connected to regulatory enforcement and compliance issues. She recently served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Denise J. Casper of the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts, where she drafted opinions and bench memoranda and supported the court in civil and criminal matters.
