Melissa Morel focuses her practice on complex litigation. She began her career at WilmerHale as a summer associate. Ms. Morel maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing individuals seeking asylum in the United States and appealing Board of Immigration Appeals decisions. 

While attending Boston University School of Law, Ms. Morel worked as a litigation intern at State Street Corporation and was a student practitioner for a Boston firm focusing on criminal defense law. She also served as co-president of the Latin American Law Students Association and class representative of the BU Law Student Government Association. 

 Prior to attending law school, Ms. Morel worked in the political industry in various positions for compliance, fundraising and campaign efforts
