Liz McMahon is a DA&I attorney in the firm's WilmerHale DiscoverySolutions team, focused on substantive and strategic areas of discovery for Litigation/Controversy matters. She joined the firm in 2008.

Ms. McMahon focuses her practice on issues of e-discovery. Specifically, she works with other attorneys, litigation support coordinators, and paralegals in order to provide efficient and cost effective discovery in litigations and investigations. Staff attorneys on these teams manage matters to create smarter document review processes through strategic and tactical work from preservation to collection and through review and production. In this role they utilize the firm's internal review software as well as e-discovery vendors' review and analytical tools.

Ms. McMahon has direct experience with document review and analysis. She was a contract attorney for the firm from 2007 to 2008 and she worked with attorneys and paralegals to identify and track significant documents. Prior to her contract work, Ms. McMahon was an associate at a firm in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she represented clients in family and employment-based immigration matters before the USCIS and Immigration Court. She represented clients in divorce, annulment, adoption and guardianship cases before the Probate and Family Court.
