Lance Peterzell focuses his practice on complex intellectual property litigation matters, especially patent litigation. He began his career at WilmerHale as a summer associate in 2021 and joined the firm as a full-time associate in 2022. Mr. Peterzell left the firm for a clerkship with the Honorable Raymond T. Chen of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit before returning to the firm as an associate in 2025. 

During law school, Mr. Peterzell worked as a legal intern for a pharmaceutical CDMO in New Jersey. Before pursuing his law degree, Mr. Peterzell was a paralegal for a boutique litigation law firm and conducted research for a chemicals company in New York. He is also a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
