Jonathan Ellison represents and counsels clients in complex litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. He also maintains an active pro bono practice at the firm.

Before joining WilmerHale, Mr. Ellison served as a law clerk for Judge A. Marvin Quattlebaum Jr. of the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and before that, for Judge Peter J. Phipps of the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. While in law school, he served as a judicial extern for Judge David C. Norton of the US District Court for the District of South Carolina. He also volunteered at Charleston Legal Access, a nonprofit law firm that provides affordable legal services to the Lowcountry community.

Before joining the legal profession, Jonathan began his career at Analysis Group, where he supported expert witnesses in preparing reports and testimony for civil litigation and federal administrative proceedings.
