John He focuses his practice on complex litigation matters in both trial and appellate courts. 

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. He served as a law clerk for Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson of the United States Supreme Court. He previously was a trial attorney at the Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice, where he brought cases enforcing the Fair Housing Act, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and other federal civil rights statutes. Prior to his time in government, Mr. He was a Skadden Fellow at Public Justice, where he litigated cases challenging the imposition of excessive fines and fees imposed by the criminal legal system. He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Marsha S. Berzon of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Honorable Sidney H. Stein of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
