Jacob Tuttle Newman focuses his practice on high-stakes commercial disputes in trial and appellate courts. Mr. Tuttle Newman has represented a wide array of clients, including technology companies, financial institutions, boards of directors, and individuals, through all stages of litigation. He has experience defending clients in class actions, contract disputes, business tort cases, and defamation lawsuits. 

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Tuttle Newman clerked for the Honorable Catharine Friend Easterly of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and the Honorable Jane Kelly of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He then worked for four years at a law firm in New York, where he focused on complex commercial litigation.
