Gabriel Rosanio is a technology specialist whose practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of domestic, international and foreign patent applications, including both utility and design subject matter.
Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Rosanio was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, San Diego, where he led a pilot project developing screening techniques for mutations related to Autism Spectrum Disorders. He also developed sequencing methods for whole genomes in collaboration with a public biotechnology company and identified critical mutations in human genomic data as part of a multi-institutional international project.
While at Northwestern University, Dr. Rosanio studied sequence-dependent DNA flexibility and compaction using novel biochemical and biophysical methods and next-generation sequencing. He also piloted a molecular genetics project to produce non-natural proteins in living cells for use as research tools.
Dr. Rosanio has presented his research findings at the ASHG 1000 Genomes Structural Variant meetings and the Physical Sciences in Oncology meetings.
