Carrie Montgomery represents clients in complex litigation matters, including litigation before federal courts and administrative agencies. Her litigation practice focuses on representing companies in government regulatory matters and commercial matters at various stages of litigation, including discovery, motions practice, trial preparation, at trial, and on appeal. Her work has involved the False Claims Act, Federal Trade Commission Act, Truth in Lending Act and Federal Arbitration Act, as well as breach of contract and patent infringement.

Ms. Montgomery began her career at WilmerHale as a summer associate in 2017. Prior to rejoining the firm, Ms. Montgomery clerked on the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Previously, she’s held positions at an international law firm in New York, the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, New York State Office of Attorney General and the White House Office of Presidential Correspondence. She also served as a junior leadership board member for Sponsors for Educational Opportunity, a nonprofit that provides educational and career support to young people from underserved communities.
