In an article in Bloomberg Law, Kirk Nahra, partner and co-chair of WilmerHale’s Cybersecurity and Privacy Practice, outlined the five privacy developments he expects to occur in 2020. 

The California Privacy Protection Act, the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation, Federal Trade Commission activity, more aggressive state attorneys general, and further movement toward a national privacy law, all bear close watching, according to Mr. Nahra.
