EuroMoney Legal Media Group has selected partners Sarah Rothermel and Rachael Kent for inclusion on the shortlists of the “Americas Women in Business Law Awards,” which honors the achievements of women leading the legal sector across the Americas.

Both partners have been recognized as stand-out individuals in their unique practice areas. Rothermel is a partner in the firm’s Fund Formation Group and partner-in-charge of the Boston office. She is one of seven attorneys selected for the “Best in Private Equity” category. Kent is a partner in the firm's Litigation/Controversy Department, and a vice chair of the International Arbitration Group. She is one of eight attorneys selected in the “Best in Commercial Arbitration” Category.

Lawyers are selected by Euromoney Legal Media Group based on their impact and success over the last 12 months. Research was conducted across various areas of law, and data was compiled through questionnaires and interviews with in-house counsel and private practitioners.

The inaugural awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 24 at the Essex House in New York City.
