Seth Waxman will receive the 26th annual Thomas Jefferson Medal in Law fromt he University of Virginia and the Thomas Jefferson Foundation Inc. on April 12, 2002. This medal, and the medal offered in Architecture, are the highest outside awards offered by the University, which grants no honorary degrees.
