Rothermel and Kent Shortlisted for Euromoney "Americas Women in Business Law Awards"

Attorney News

Euromoney Legal Media Group (LMG) has placed Partners Sarah Rothermel and Rachael Kent on its shortlist for the "Americas Women in Business Law Awards" for the second consecutive year. Each year this list is compiled to honor women attorneys for their professional accomplishments, advocacy and influence within the industry.

Both Rothermel and Kent are recognized for being among the best lawyers in their respective practice groups. Rothermel is a partner in WilmerHale’s Fund Formation Practice Group and partner-in-charge of the Boston office. She is one of seven individuals selected to the “Best in Private Equity” list. Kent is vice chair of the International Arbitration Practice Group and a partner in the firm’s Litigation/Controversy Department. She is one of seven individuals selected to the “Best in Commercial Arbitration” list.

LMG’s editorial staff selects leading women attorneys for the list based on firm nomination submissions, peer interviews, survey results and legal directory analysis that allows them to be evaluated on their ability to support the development of women in the legal profession and promote work/life balance in order to better enable women to pursue legal careers.

The LMG’s "Americas Women in Business Law Awards," during which the winners will be announced, will take place on Wednesday, June 5 at the Essex House in New York City.
