Partner Seth Waxman Delivers 65th Argument in United States Supreme Court

On the morning of March 25, Partner Seth Waxman delivered his 65th oral argument to the United States Supreme Court in the Oxford Health Plans LLC v. Sutter case. He represented the UnitedHealth Group in Oxford Health Plans LLCs’ appeal of the Third Circuit’s ruling which forced it into class arbitration with doctors challenging its reimbursement practices. Waxman’s 65th argument marks a milestone in his litigation career and places him within an elite ranking of top tier attorneys who have argued in front of the Supreme Court. Presently, only three lawyers currently in practice have delivered more arguments in the Supreme Court than Waxman.
