A WilmerHale team including Tim Cook, Tim Perla, Charlie Cox, Noah Kaitin, Liz Bedrick and Amanda Clarke is representing the American Civil Liberties Union of Tennessee (ACLU-TN) in a federal court matter involving the City of Memphis.

"This filing is about accountability and prevention," said WilmerHale Partner Tim Cook. "The evidence described in the motion shows coordinated police action against people engaged in core First Amendment activity."

ACLU-TN is the Tennessee affiliate of the American Civil Liberties Union, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to defending and preserving the individual rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the United States. The Tennessee affiliate advances civil liberties statewide through litigation, advocacy and public education.
