Lisa Pirozzolo Honored with Adams Pro Bono Publico Award by Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court

Lisa Pirozzolo has been honored with the Adams Pro Bono Publico Award by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Pro Bono Committee. This award recognizes Lisa's dedication to pro bono service throughout her career. Lisa was specifically highlighted for her leadership in a class action seeking accommodations for deaf and hard of hearing people in the custody of the Massachusetts Department of Correction, among other significant pro bono contributions.

The SJC Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services works to “promote volunteer legal service to assist people of limited means in need of legal representation, in accordance with Rule 6.1 of the Massachusetts Rules of Professional Conduct for attorneys.”

The award was presented by Supreme Judicial Court Associate Justice Elizabeth N. Dewar at the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Supreme Judicial Court Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services on October 30.
